Spring Open Day - Thursday 14th April

Spring Open Day - Thursday 14th April 2016

This Thursday we are holding our Spring Open Day in partnership with Unitron. Their North hearing aids feature exciting new "Log it All" technology which helps us record your own personal soundscape. By evaluating the sound environments you use the instruments in, we are able to determine whether you are wearing the most appropriate technology for your requirements. Unitron North hearing aids also feature a world's first upgradable option. This means that once you've been wearing the devices for 6-12 months or beyond, if you decide you'd like even more performance from them, we can upgrade the technology simply by connecting them to our computer. This is something that has never been available until now.

By attending the open day between 10am-4pm, you can;

•  Have a live demonstration of the new North hearing aid technology
•  Receive advice from Unitron's hearing expert Adam Kobeissi
•  Experience the benefits of the revolutionary Log it All technology
•  Take up a FREE TRIAL of the new North hearing aids
•  Get exclusive offers and discounts on the day (see below)

Open Day Tuesday 29th September

On Tuesday 29th September we'll be having an Open Day at our Scarborough branch to showcase Oticon's latest development; the Alta2 hearing aid. With Alta2 Oticon have developed the concept of "BrainHearing". Essentially that we use our brain as well as our ears to help us hear. The new processing chip helps with BrainHearing by placing more emphasis on hearing soft speech clearly, providing better speech understanding in noisy environments and leaving you requiring much less effort to listen to conversation throughout the day. BrainHearing technology helps the brain to make the best sense of sound. Alta2's processing chip can deliver 30% more processing power and up to a 20% improvement in soft speech understanding than previous hearing aids.

To allow you to experience BrainHearing for yourself, we are offering FREE demonstrations of the Alta2 hearing aids at the Open Day. You will also get to see inside your ears with our video otoscope and have a complimentary hearing screening and consultation. Once you have then listened with a pair of Alta2 hearing aids, if you decide to take a pair on our 60 day trial*, you will benefit from our exclusive Open Day offers of 20% off the purchase price, a free 5 year warranty and free batteries for a year! We'll also be serving complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits and there's a chance for you to have your current hearing aids cleaned and checked for free.

To book your free appointment at the Open Day, either call us on 0800 633 5939 or email neil@charlwoodhearing.co.uk. Appointments are limited and we would encourage you to bring along a family member or friend.

OPEN DAY TUESDAY 31st MARCH

Do you want to experience better than normal hearing?

Now with the new Binax hearing aids from Siemens you can do just this! Two independent clinical studies (one from the States, the other from Germany) have shown that Binax provides better than normal hearing in cocktail-party type environments where there is speech and noise.

It does this by automatically providing a very narrow form of directionality to focus on the speaker directly in front and eliminate noise and unwanted speech from other directions. This leads to an improvement in speech understanding by 2.9dB compared to someone with normal hearing.

Sceptical? Find out for yourself how this new technology works by coming along to our Scarborough branch for a FREE OPEN DAY on Tuesday 31^st March from 10am-4pm. We will be offering you demonstrations with the hearing aids (programmed to your individual loss), and for the first time ever, we will be offering demonstrations to whoever you choose to bring with you to the appointment, be it family or friend. This way we can show you both how the hearing aids can focus on speech and eliminate unwanted noise.

Our visiting expert for the day will be Mr Steven Baker from Siemens hearing instruments who will be on hand to help demonstrate the new hearing aids and answer any questions you have. You will also be able to get a FREE ear inspection using our video otoscope, and get your current hearing aids cleaned & checked for FREE.

Of course it wouldn’t be an open day without special offers and discounts, so if you come along on the day you can benefit from exclusive discounts on Siemens Binax hearing aids*, get a FREE remote control (worth £125) and a year’s FREE batteries. Everyone who comes in on the day can get 3 for 2 on all batteries and hearing aid accessories. Plus all attendees with be entered into a FREE prize draw to win Marks and Spencer’s vouchers. We’ll also be serving complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits.

To find out more about the World’s first technology that outperforms normal hearing and to book an appointment at our open day, call us on 01723 369505 or email neil@charlwoodhearing.co.uk. We look forward to seeing you on the 31^st!
