October Open Days

We're delighted to announce not just one, but four Open Days we're hosting in October. The first three of these will be held at our Scarborough clinic and the fourth will be at Visioncare Optometry in Acomb, York. 

On Thursday 22nd October you can come along to discover all about the new Signia MaX hearing aids. With not just one but FOUR Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) working in one coordinated system to focus on speech, analyse the environment, manage noise and monitor your own voice, MaX constantly adapts to the situation to give a more true to life sound than ever before. Our MaX Open Day in Scarborough is on Thursday 22nd October 9am – 5pm and focuses entirely on MaX. We will be demonstrating how MaX can perform in the presence of background noise and will run through all of its features in more detail to explain how they work. We’ll also have visiting expert Sophie Mullen on hand to answer any questions you have about this new technology. 

Our second Open Day will focus on the new Phonak EON hearing aids. Highlights of EON include a more natural sound, advanced wind noise reduction technology that reduces wind noise by up to 50 decibels helping you hear better outdoors, and an impressive 38 hours battery life. On Monday 26th October 9am-5pm, we’ll be holding an EON Open Day where we’ll demonstrate just how impressive this new technology is.

 

Our third and fourth open days will be more general information Open Days which include the latest offerings from both Oticon and Resound, as well as MaX and EON. We can offer free ear health checks, demonstrations of the latest hearing innovations, and exclusive offers and discounts. We'll also have free refreshements and goodie backs to give away. These Open Days will be taking place on Thursday 29th October in Scarborough and Friday 30th in York.

Open Day Event 27/11/25

On Thursday 27th November we'll be holding a special Open Day Event to showcase the very latest development in hearing technology; Starkey Omega AI.

FREE Ear Health Check appointments throughout February!

In support of Tinnitus Week 2025, which runs from 3-9 February, we are offering FREE Ear Health Check appointments during the whole of February. We use our state of the art Video Otoscope to examine your ears, before carrying out a hearing screening check. This will help us assess your ear health.
